If your connection with MCSNet was connected directly to your computer, then there is a great probability that NAT translation is active on your radio. After you have your router connected to the internet cable and to your computer, please contact us to disable NAT translation and register your router. This picture may help if you are confused about the cabling:

MCSNet does not use a modem. The flat black ethernet cable will plug into the Internet port of the router.

Enabling Wireless Encryption
To start the manual configuration of the router:
Open your web browser (Internet Explorer for most systems).
Enter 192.168.1.1 in the address bar near the top and hit Enter

Use a blank username and admin for the password
Under Setup -> Basic Setup
Set the connection type as Automatic Configuration - DHCP
and click Save Settings

Click on Wireless -> Wireless Security
select WPA Personal as the Security Mode

Select TKIP
Enter your desired network key
Click Save Settings to save your changes.
